Why aren’t most people honest on dating sites?

I can not speak for women who send personal ads because I don 't read them. I know there are women who send more unhonest personal ads as well. I 'm. very curious as to why most people aren 't honest in their personal ads? Why do address things like: 'Wanted' strange, in the section than to the m4w section random encounters? Why not put a profile on the sites related Gradica AdultFriendFinder, or go to a bar? Isn 't an option after more inexpensive and requires less time? What about the people whose IDs are: hot14u69, etc.. Again, why not send in the section of casuals? Why men are not looking for a clear potential, respond to ads posted by women who say they want an honest relationship? Why do some men say in their ads that are 'very busy' / 'far' too busy, but send an ad? Why not get one 's life and then get together in the pond dating once the dust has been deposited? Honesty will make it easier for the ad posters are what they want?

cause they are sad lonely individuals with personality flaws that mean they can’t meet someone in a normal way at resort to the Internet

i think they do it to flatter themselves. same with making the fake pictures. they think that if they put on a false immage, they will get laid.

What people want more on dating sites is to make a profile that focuses on the things that they want to improve about themselves or change to make them the “perfect” human being. As people, most are not honest. Honesty is the best choice, instead of lying they should work on what they want to improve and prove that they have flaws just like everyone else.

For the same reason used car salesman lie sometimes. They’re trying to make a sale, and everyone has a part of them broken. Everyone.

bc usually the ones that arent honest on dateline servies either online or the phone is because there hiding something or just down right lieing or players

i no this really has nothing to do with your question but id like to say that we met each other thru an online dating service and in order for us to make it we had to very honest and very upfront with each other from the very get go bc if u dont then 10/10 it wont work

My friend met some dates online…it seems the guyz don’t think anyone is going to respond AT ALL so they’re pulling out all the stops!! You have to weed through them. I think there are a lot of great people to meet online.
Just skip the ads where they list their sexual conquest/prowness up front. Skip the ones w/o photos. And definately skip the ones that r too busy to date or out of the country!! Those r fantasy relationships, avoid them like the plague!!

There are several potential reasons for those assertions. Rule of thumb; avoid them! They probably get their own reward(s).

Ummmm……I would say bcuz they are probably so unattractive they have to resort to lying on computers to get dates bcuz u can’t see how sum1 truly looks through a monitor. I think that it’s pathetic bcuz I’m a strong believer of faith and I believe that if you are meant to meet sum1, you will with or without a computer. Get a life!!!!!!(to all who does this)

It’s too easy to lie on the internet.

Men tend to see ‘dating’ sites as a way to get sex not relationships.

Honesty would be best but as in all walks of life it ain’t gonna happen.
