You get a mixed bag online.
Some want sex, some are playing games, so do want a relationship and some have no idea what they want.

My past experience has been: they claim they want a “soul mate” but want to date 1000 of their “matches” before deciding.

I actually haven’t but know a few people who have and this is what my take on it is, they are:
divorced, looking for a bed buddy
divorced looking for a new wife asap
single players
very nerdy or shy and have zero luck meeting girls face to face
have the personality of a door knob
Although to be fair, I work with a couple who met on line and have been married now for like 5 or 6 years. But they are the only ones I know that it has worked out for.

None of the ones I’ve met on personal ads worked out. All the ones that wanted more than a friend only seemed to want to see more and more pics and seemed overly interested in sex(probably pervs). Then, as you mentioned, there are a lot of them that just appear unattractive – fat and lazy, redneck types. I know I shouldn’t judge by the outside, but if they are really looking to impress they should make themselves presentable and take a decent picture.

yes, they r either there to find lonely house wives and casual sex partners or they can’t have a conversation to save their lives. If they r appealing to the sight they r usally sex fiends. It is sad tried online dating for 1month then gave up.

We can see many trolls who are just looking for fun or sex at the online dating sites. This kind of actions are not allowed at a good quality dating site. My friend has got a great lover through a dating site called millionairecupid.com. That’s the reason I’m on it now.
