It sounds like he is not ready for a committed relationship, which doesn’t necessarily make him a bad guy. You also should continue dating other people unless or until you two become exclusive. What were you doing on the personals website? Were you keeping your options open? It’s good to make sure you are ready before you take the relationship to the next level.

Yeah, he put his personal add on because he is looking for woman. He wants you as one of his “options”. I would not even waste my time with this guy. He did not have time for you before, and now he is looking for lots of girls to occupy his time. I would just leave it be and move on.
