It is a very common misconception the many guys make when they are new to dating women that they should constantly be ‘nice’ all the time. While this might sound a bit peculiar to some people, here are the reasons why this is actually the case.

Although the opposite is certainly not true, it is certainly not a good idea to be excessively nice. This makes you look weak and completely out of control in your situation. Most women like a degree of manliness in their men.

If you constantly do everything that she wants and follower her around constantly complimenting her and buying her presence, then you are going to be what all your friends will probably call ‘under the thumb’. You will be turned into a laughing stock and people will start not to take you seriously, including all other women.

Confidence is also a deciding factor. You should also not think too much before you do things when it comes to attracting women. Try to be spontaneous but also be in control.

Another reason why nice guys finish last is because there are constantly complementing women. After a time, this becomes a complete cliche. Buying flowers, constantly complimenting and automatically doing everything they want is simply going to make you into a laughing stock.

This does not necessarily mean that you should be a complete monster with the woman. Of course not, but you should not be so superficial and try to be natural and be yourself. Women will like and respect you all the better for it, so don’t try too hard to impress.
