The worst thing that guys do is try to impress girls by telling them about their what they have in their life. Unfortunately, when you actively try to impress someone, you end up doing the complete opposite and reduce your value in their mind. In fact, one of the tricks to impressing girls in general is to go about your day and don’t try to impress anyone. Although this may sound different at first, allow me to explain.

When you try to ‘not to impress’ a girl, you’ll find yourself naturally saying things that show that you aren’t scared of what people think. It helps position you as an alpha male, someone that’s not scared of the consequences because you are important. That’s one of the reasons why so called jerks are so successful with girls: they aren’t afraid of saying things that might disturb them. In fact, they like it.

Imagine for a second, a guy that’s throwing out compliments left and right, “oh you’re so pretty”, “i love you legs”, “your eyes are like shining stars in the sky”, if this man follows it up by saying the food the girl cooked is good, she’ll take it very lightly. I mean, if you’re blatantly biased towards her, telling her compliments left and right, how sincere can you really be? Anything you say will have an alterior motive, something that makes you less than honest.

However, if you’re a man that comes in bold, doesn’t compliment but rather teases, “oh, you have a crumb on your blouse”, “I like your hair style, I really like how you bleached your roots a different color” and so on, then if this guy says he really likes the food, she’ll believe you. You’ll come off as the honest man that isn’t scared of saying what he thinks even if it hurts. Ultimately, by being yourself, you’ll come off as more honest, more interesting and overall more impressive. Not only that, but you’ll capture a girl’s attention everytime you say something that’s not politically correct.

So the next time you’re trying get a girlfriend, remember, don’t be nice, but rather be an honest version of yourself. It will not only make you much happier but it will attract girls to you!
