An old fashioned girl ,is a woman that likes to take care of the family,cook a nice dinner every night,keep the house clean and is dedicated to keeping the family happy.Not someone who likes to let loose and go out and party all the time.

these people are from the old school, family traditions, not “with it” as most of our people are these days…going with the flow, what comes my way…I take my way. If he/she is important to you…HOLD on!
That means that they believe in the traditional roles and morals of what people lived by back in the day. Perhaps the man would believe that he should be the bread winner while the wife stays at home and cares for the children. He may believe that he is the head of the house and the woman should be more submissive. He may like to open doors and take care of his woman.
An old fashioned girl may believe that the man is the pursuer and should open doors for her and treat her like a lady. She may want to stay at home and have children to care for. She probably likes to cook and take care of the house. She probably looks up to her husband and expects him to be her protector.
An old fashioned guy, or girl wouldn’t be in to all the equality that is going on today and all of the changes that have happened over he past 40 to 50 years. They liked the roles that they saw growing up n their household and they want to stick to that.

mike has the description i would have used… that would be what i would assume… old fashioned chivalry, no sex b4 marriage?, lots of nice things that our society has forgotten about and got confused during the womens liberation stuff. some womens libbers think they got it right. i’m considered a ‘radical’ feminist but i still hold some traditional views. how can thatbe? those who call themselves radical are actually fanatical!!! and dont respect men. i do respect men and i like men to have some traditional views! and i like men who want their partner to hold feminine traditional views. it all still comes down to respect for each other and compromise and trust and chivalry can be played out by both which is really the result of respect shown toward each other. make sense?
Polite, well mannered, able to hold an intelligent conversation, will switch off their mobile phone when with you, behaves in a restrained way in public, places sex further down the agenda than companionship and shared interests, dresses in an unobtrusive manner, gives you space to talk, listens to you and responds appropriately and expects the same from you.
Id take that as meaning that they had traditional values and morals – such as no sex on the first date – being curteous and mannerly – that kinda thing

I say it all the time! My meaning is a woman has her role and a man has his role. Back in the day woman didn’t take care of their men their men took care of them. Now a days some women are just ridiculous how they pay for ever thing, cook, clean, have sex, and don’t receive any thing in return besides being able to say “they have a man”!!

well old fashioned could mean many things but basically it’;s the way u were brought up…
may be u dont like going out too much or you believe too much in your culture and in traditions.
or u r superstitious. or u like to dress up the old way or u like to talk about things that many people find boring…
and other things like that… like u stick to what your family or parents say…

I am a modern guy, So I can’t Believes in these things but I can teach you definite that what’s Old fashion.
I don’t know what’s your age but if you are younger near about 20 then you may ask from your father or uncle that was he wearing underwear in his young age. Was he walking na ked up to age 20. There was not more makeup like these days. Now a days girls likes paint, whitewash or Distemper on their breasts, they don’t like to wear Bra. And boys likes to look like a girl and they are increasing there hairs like girls and are wearing cloths of girls. Girls are also wearing cloths of Boy and they likes boy cut hairs, short hair Same as boys.
These type of fashions were not that time which is know as Old fashion.
That time was not any kind of description on a personals ad or dating site profile.
